you know what I think?
I was gearing up to write a post about how I think the word "gorgeous" is quite ridiculous, but then I got distracted by the title of this post.
you know what I think?
Why does it really matter what I think?
Of what worth have I proven my thoughts?
What have I ever done to make my thoughts something that you should hear? Something that may be important to you? Something that could mean anything to you? Something that you need to make and take time to read?
Honestly, ponder that for a bit.

...kind of makes blogging seem stupid, huh?
but don't stop, because I like to read the thoughts you decide to share on here.
yes. I think your thoughts are quite lovely, and they inspire me to think too. Which is a wonderful thing for friends to do for each other. Also, that's what makes your thoughts so worth it.
So while blogging is kind of dumb, it's less dumb than words being unsaid and thoughts unshared...:P
But walking and talking is a nicer medium for those words and thoughts hey?
Um, pretty much exactly what Justine said.
Also, as ridiculous as 'gorgeous' is, I have enough trouble finding alternatives to 'beautiful' (in order to avoid diminishing it's meaning) as it is. So I do use it on occasion.
Lawren! might I draw your attention to a thesaurus? It's like a buffet full of delicious words.
e.g.
admirable, alluring, angelic, appealing, beauteous, bewitching, charming, classy, comely, cute, dazzling, delicate, delightful, divine, elegant, enticing, excellent, exquisite, fair, fascinating, fine, good-looking, gorgeous, graceful, grand, handsome, ideal, lovely, magnificent, marvelous, nice, pleasing, pretty, pulchritudinous, radiant, ravishing, refined, resplendent, shapely, sightly, splendid, statuesque, stunning, sublime, superb, symmetrical, taking, well-formed, wonderful.
A favorite of mine is "resplendent" especially when it is used in the bible.
Also, I also don't really like the word gorgeous, but then I thought about it and it made me very sad, because that word is beautiful, it's just been used and abused in such a way to make it not appealing anymore.
wow. wowowowowowow. i was honestly just pondering this 30 minutes ago, its very srustrating. in my mind, i also went on to make a similar link between worth and romantic relationships.
