So, on New Years' weekend, I was at camp with a whole bunch of pleasant people. Among which was one of my best fake-cousins, Kara VanGrootheest, gotta be one of the funniest girls I know! And there was also Maria Geertsema, from school! Let's just say that together we can be quite odd. heh. So, we had tonnes of fun and yeah, ate lots of food, the pig in me came out : ). So, we stayed up super late on Friday, because //ahem\\ Kara wouldn't stop talking! And then on Saturday, Kara's cousin Jolene came, also an incredible person, and that night, Kara and Jolene wouldn't let us fall asleep. They were talking, and they made us tell stories about princesses and handsome princes. It was.........interesting. But, all in all, a good timem was had by all. Lots of singing and grand people. Good food and games of Dutch BLitz, euchre, the hand game, and the chicken game. Yep. I'd like to do it again!

Yesterday was Haak day. It was really fun, even without Kira and Brittni (sniff). We had some pretty good times, playing pecan : P. It was good. I won (of course!). Yeah, but then I was promptly given some of the other players' cards : ), they were so great, they gave me cards!!! By the end, we were all pretty dead. So I had Justine and Cassie's heads on my lap. I was giving them head massages. It was cool. We were talking about the longest word in the dicitonary, which happens to be antidisestablishmentarianism (and you can take that to the bank!). So, I had to say MY word... flauccinaucinihilipilification. It is so much fun to say. Really, try it. Then, try teaching it to a bunch of crazies. It's really very entertaining. By the way, it means something about the act of doing nothing. OH and antidisestablishmentarianism means that you don't like the government.

Adjectives on a Typewriter

So, my brother,Dan, was listening to Cake on the computer just now. And he was strummin' his guitar along with it. I love it when he does that. It makes me jealous. I wish I could do that. Just like, sit there and listen to music, strummin' a guitar. Sigh.


I started learning a piano book. Well, I'm going to attempt to teach myself how to play something on our keyboard. We'll see how far I get : S

the fuddy dudster

So, my parents got a new car because our old one got a little smashed. Me and my sister have nicknamed it "the fuddy dudster". It's the exact smae year as our old Maxima, but this one has special doohickeys. It's a '92 black Maxima. It has a fun lock thing. Under the door handles, it has numbers and you have to push a code in order to unlock the door. It's fun. And amusing. Also, the gas gauge is electronic! AND (this is in a tone of ridiculous incredulity) the spedometer is digital, with a thinger on the corner of the dashboard that says the speed you're going so you don't have to look down all the time. This is like the supreme FUDDY DUDSTER! It has power seats and everything! The rear-view mirror is enormous, and it maeks everything smaller, so you can see more! PLUS, you can switch the spedometer from miles/hour to kilometres/hour to miles/hour to kilometres/hour. I like it. Yep, the all-new supreme-o FUDDY DUDSTER!!!

I wore a long blakc/white jacket to church today. It was nice. I like jackets. Especially because it means that snow is coming! I really want snow to come. Snow is a great thing. Right now, I'm listening to Christmas carols. Maybe I should go carolling this year...hmmm. Anybody up for it?
