shoulder to shoulder into the fray

I have decided it is about time I de-pick-ified myself (i.e. made myself less picky).
It's going to be a rather difficult battle, as I am the pickiest person I know. [Sad, eh?]

However, if this means I have to start eating seafood, melons, and 'shrooms, I don't think I can do it.

this week I had a camper who didn't like toast and apple crisp. I've never met anyone so picky about food. For one meal the only thing I could get her to eat was bacon. Real healthy.....
But seriously, who doesn't like toast?!

So in conclusion, not liking mushroom isn't so bad.

I happen to be of the opinion that seafood, melons and mushrooms are (or can be) some of the most amazing foods on earth. But seafood, and to some extent, mushrooms, have to be done right.

Not that you aren't allowed to dislike them, just... I think you're missing out.

seafood - urg. Melons are good, but mushrooms are detestable. Just my opinion.
